  11. Blessings and happy new year. i wish you health and infinite love and joy.

i don't know that i would pass as i did not grow up in the western world. I do recall some though, like the:

    cigarette candy
the rub boards because that i what we use to wash clothes, we call them jukking boards.
The record player for sure,45s and LPs, cause that is what we played music on
    Metal ice trays
    roller skates
soda pop machines with glass bottle coke

    I even have some you haven't listed like;
Soap opera over the radio cause we didn't have tv yet
black and white tv when we finally got one
Kasa Ball (big round rock sweetie like a marble)
Oil lamps (cause that was our lights when electricity went out)
Pitch oil stove: where we cook our food, there was a small glass bottle of oil at the side to light the burners. when that fail it was the wood fire outside and the pot on top the burning wood to cook.
clothes pin to hang the clothes on the line because we had no dryers!
Singer sewing machine with the two foot peddles
matches in the rectangle box (to light the stove and the oil lamp)
powdered milk you mix/dissolve to drink, then Stayfresh milk in cartons
swizzle sticks, long stick with a star like shape at the end that we swizzle between our two hands to mix things, dissolve the powder milk etc......

i could go on but i'll stop there....haha
    how old am i?

  16. This test was spot on- a good selection.I remember exactly 14 of these without having been told about them. I wonder whatever happened to Blackjack gum? If you hadn't mentioned it I probably would've forgotten all about it. My paternal grandmother brought a washboard into our house in case the washer broke down. My Mom never used it and she was indignant about its presence. ; )
