Did you have a Merry Christmas? We
had a pretty good holiday here, especially grandson, Jace. He got the one big
item he wanted and several of the smaller ones, so he was a very happy little
boy. We (the grown-ups) had the best time watching him jump for joy as he
opened his presents.
He ripped the wrapping paper from packages faster than a
paper shredder. As soon as he had the package opened enough to see what it was,
he tossed that one aside. In the blink of an eye, he was tearing into the next
gift. Needless to say, he had a great time on Christmas day! We had an even better time watching him
having fun.
How was your Christmas? Would you care to share how yours went? What did you do? Who did you celebrate with?
Not
everybody celebrates Christmas. So, if you don't celebrate Christmas please do
tell me what you celebrate instead?
Happy
New Year Everyone!
We had family stop by and exchanged presents, ate lots of good food and enjoyed being together-enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteI cooked a Christmas turkey dinner for the very first time by myself and I amazed myself. I invited my Dad and brother and his wife over for the dinner. Only my Dad made it over but I could tell he was pleasantly surprised. Didn't know I had it in me but I've been an observing a pro for many years. She must've been right by my side telling me exactly how to do everything. Couldn't manage pie or cranberries but isn't that supposed to be Thanksgiving ?
ReplyDeleteBest Christmas ever. It sounds like you all had fun as well.

We had a quiet Christmas, but got some surprise gifts that really brightened our day. Our new year celebrations are usually more full of traditions and rituals though. I'm sorry to admit I didn't get the house totally cleaned and organized like we usually try to do.
ReplyDeleteI can just picture the joy and exuberance of adorable Jace. You are so blessed to be able to celebrate with him.

ReplyDeleteQuiet
didn't even put up the christmas tree.
Baked bbq chicken, macaroni pie, sauteed spinach, coleslaw, traditional Caribbean stew chicken. Ate and relaxed, no real fanfare. It was nice.
