Hurricane Harvey

Thank You for Your Prayers During Hurricane Harvey!

Please continue to pray for us as we deal with the aftermath of Harvey's damages.

I watched apprehensively as rain poured from the sky, the street in front of my house was completely covered within minutes. I moved steadily around the house and storage room gathering my already prepared “Hurricane Supplies”. Every so often I’d look outside to see what the weather was doing.

Hurricane Harvey continued to drench everything in sight. Strong winds bent some trees almost in half and sent debris flying in all directions. I continued collecting hurricane supplies so they would be handy in case of a power outage. Harvey ravaged on outside while I prepared for the unknown inside.

Preparing for Hurricane Harvey:

Propane Generator at the ready!

Propane Tanks ready to fuel the generator.

Batteries, flashlights, candles, etc. are ready and handy in bedroom.

Clothes, shoes, purse, and personal care items are ready, waiting by the door.

The only thing left to do is to wait and PRAY

  1. I forgot you lived there, many prayers coming your way...

  2. Hey there, Lin. It's so good to see you. I've been away from blogging for a while. Thank you for taking time to stop by and for the nice comment. I really appreciate the prayers, they are what helped us make it through. Thank you!

  3. Thank you Adam. I appreciate that a lot.

  4. My dear dear DEAR friend. I had no idea in the world that was where you are. I never knew from the blog a long time ago. Something told me to come here today. I thought of you and this is sincere, for two days now.

Are the rest of the family in town as well? I send my prayers and my love straight to you and the the family.

  5. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for those beautiful sweet words of encouragement, Carole. I'm so glad to see you and I really appreciate the love and the prayers. (((HUGGGS))) to Miss Katie for me.

  6. OH, I forgot! Yes Carole, the rest of the family is here also. Two brothers are on the east coast. Thank you again.

  7. I hope you stay safe and my thoughts go out to you and family during this devastating period. Warm greetings and best wishes.

  8. Thank you for your Warm greetings and best wishes, Blogoratti. I really appreciate that, it means a lot. Yes, we are safe and truly blessed!

  9. Continuing to pray for you and your loved one Leona and everyone else affected by Harvey. Wow, what devastation it brought. So many people lost everything. So easy to take life for granted. Glad to know that you all are safe. Stay strong and blessed!

  10. I'm so glad you're doing alright. I was worried about everyone. I even texted my cousin-in-law in Allen to see if he could contact you and see how you were. I started praying for you the minute I saw those photos and films.
    Still praying ! Evelyn

I'm so glad you came by. PLEASE, let me know you were here and leave a comment.

Have a wonderful wonderful day!
