Contest Winner Announced!

The deadline has come and gone in our Book Give Away Contest. We have a winner! A big hearty Thank You to the entrants who made this so much fun!

Five of my loyal friends and cool readers entered my first ever Book Give Away Contest, and in the end my staff and I narrowed it down to three lucky winners - one 1st place winner, one 2nd place winner, and one Runner Up.

Book Give Away Contest!

I have thought for a very long time about the best way to run a fun and fair Book Give Away Contest. Finally, I have it. I will give away one copy of my book, At the Starting Gate, by Leona Shankle to an eligible person.

The random drawing will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 and the winner will be announced on this blog on Monday 6/13/11.

If all goes well and I don’t end up going crazy, I will do another Book Give Away Contest soon. So, how does this work?

Eligibility: Anyone who meets the following requirements is eligible to enter.

Contest Deadline: All submissions via comments to this blog post must be received by 12:00 midnight Friday June 10, 2011 (CST - Central Time Zone)

How many Entries are allowed? Only one entry per person is required. You may comment more than once, but only your most recent entry/comment will be accepted for the contest.

Location: Only entrants from the United States and Canada are eligible to enter this contest.

How To Enter:

1. Be a follower of this blog. Mention in your comment that you already follow so new readers can visit your blog.

2. If you’re not already following, you must actually sign up and follow. Then let me know in your comment that you are a NEW follower.

3. Leave a comment that completes this sentence: "I would like to win because..."

You can comment anytime from the time of this post until Friday night (June 10, 2011) at midnight. (CST - Central Time Zone)

4. Include your email address in your comment so I can contact you if you win without having to go searching around for you. I’m new at this and I just want to give someone a chance to win a free book.
