truly most days the best thing one can do is look at the sky. Mom used to always remark with surprise of how blue it was. Now for some advice LoL! Get the book "The 36 hour day" it doesnt just instruct you like other books- it actually tells you what to say and do in real situations. Like how to redirect when person is obsessed with something which is what happens Alot. I used singing, I would just start singing and change her focus to join in (or not lool) it helped me to not get angry- adding in some dancing and poof she forgot what she was so adamant about. Also they HATE to throw stuff away so I would constantly reassure her i wasnt going to throw it away- News paper I would ask if i could read it etc. But mostly I had to do things undercover/secretly like when she was asleep- like throw away rotten food. You get good at secretly maneuvering items ( like tissue paper) But omg dont get caught! THAT they remember! ((HUGS!))
I am convinced, now more than ever, that taking the time to watch the sunset every day can reduce stress enough to add perhaps decades on your life. I've proven it to myself. You ought to see how many of my photos are of sunsets! Some are spectacular and some are just a bath for the eyes but whatever you watch make it last long enough to change your perspective on the day. I have been missing out this year and I've really felt it. I've only been doing this since about 2010 but I highly recommend it for anyone and everyone. You'll be glad you did.
