Well, this is what is's come to. That's me on the right side of the beach blanket. Next time I will definitely put on a jar of sunscreen, if there is a next time.
It's hot as the dickens here in the blazing hot Texas sun.
How is it in your part of the country?
I hope your weather is treating you better than ours is.

It was pretty warm today, but it's cooled down tonight, thank goodness. We have heard that the weather is awful on the mainland. I'm so sorry. I wish I could send some cooling trade winds your way.

welcome back-it's cooling here under 100 degrees and so welcome but we have little humidity-on to fall.

hahahahahahaha...thanks for the laugh. We're at about 90ish here but it cools down nicely at night. Fall is coming!

That's funny! It has been really hot and humid. Sunscreen all the way.

The kids are doing well... and all are back in school! :-)

Stuffy but not outrageously hot in Ohio. Always glad to have you come by, my friend!!!

It's warm here but rains in between help in keeping the temperature bearable.

Nice to see you back !

I, for one, hate the 'hot, hot, hot, because I am tired of sweating all of the time. Bring on the cool breezes of fall.

Hi, Leona!

Be sure and go over to my blog and read the reply to your last comment, OK?

Also, now that I have a computer to borrow for a few days, I have some news to tell you:

Yep...I just received word that a short story that I wrote entitled "The Rose" is going to be published in an emagazine. I'll be making a post on my blog in late October, after they have the first exhibit/art show and I have some pictures to go along with the story. I might do a tiny write-up before that, just to let everybody know, but I wanted you to be one of the first to know.

The weather here has been nice and warm. Nice for riding the motorcycle and for going swimming, but NOT for working outside. But, that's what summer's all about, right?
