English Grammar 101: All You Need to Know

Somewhere out there in the stratosphere someone is looking for information on basic English Grammar. High school students, first time bloggers, and those whose skills and knowledge have become rusty over time might need a simple refresher on English Grammar.

A few months ago as I searched the internet for a project I'm working on, I encountered just such a person. His question was clear, "How do I...something, something...?" I promised myself right then and there I would share resources and information more frequently.

On the other hand, there are veteran bloggers who have written more this past week than I have written in a lifetime. This post is for the first group.

Just ask a friend what is the role of prepositions within sentences, or what are the four moods of verbs, and I am sure that you will see a puzzled look on his face.

Understanding the basic grammar rules is essential for communicating efficiently, but most of us have forgotten those concepts years ago.

In order to solve this problem we decided to put together all the basic rules on a single page, so that you can use it as a refresher, or print it out for future reference.

Enjoy!

  1. Oh my gosh, Leona. You are amazing. I'd be the first to admit that I'm not very good at grammar. Your grammar page is very helpful.
