Garden Rewards

It's so hot here air conditioners feel like heaters and, it's all dry air. The only thing that helps is to be still and stay out of the sun. I do that very well.

Baby son is working hard to keep our garden from turning to ashes. There is one bright light in the midst of all the gardening agony though.

We have a tomato growing! Look just below and to the left of the yellow flower, see that cute little thing?

Now there are more baby tomatoes showing their faces. I have to get pictures of that soon, this photo was taken a couple of weeks ago.

We're as excited as a couple of kids on Christmas morning around here, waiting!

Book Give Away Contest!

I have thought for a very long time about the best way to run a fun and fair Book Give Away Contest. Finally, I have it. I will give away one copy of my book, At the Starting Gate, by Leona Shankle to an eligible person.

The random drawing will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 and the winner will be announced on this blog on Monday 6/13/11.

If all goes well and I don’t end up going crazy, I will do another Book Give Away Contest soon. So, how does this work?
