50 Days of Pre-School

How cute is this!? Grandson Jace’s school celebrated 50 days of school last Tuesday, November 5, 2014. The note to parents informed that the children could dress as children dressed in the 1950s.

The boys could wear black or white T-shirts with the sleeves rolled up, black leather jackets or blue jean jackets with the collar turned up, and blue jeans with the legs rolled up. To top off, or bottom off, the outfit they could wear Converse sneakers. We used to call them tennis shoes, now they’re called sneakers.

Oh, how cute this is going to be!

Jace’s mommy wondered what clothes he had available and what kind of 1950s looking outfit she could put together for him. I spent the time smiling inwardly, thinking about how cute the little kids would look in their outfits.

I didn’t see Jace before he left for school so I spent the day wondering how the celebration was going. Jace usually strips out of his school clothes before he comes into my room to tumble around on the bed. Tuesday he came to my room straight away to show me his outfit for the day.

WOW, he looked so cutely 50-ish in his little blue jeans, white T-shirt, and Converse sneakers! He babbled and jabbered and told me all about his day at school. It sounded wonderful, like they had the best old time.

There you have it, 50 days of pre-school for grandson Jace.
