Photo by dellgirlNo matter how bad things get, something good lies tangled twisted and hidden within.
The bad will end – eventually.
And, the good will become evident, even if you have to sift through the rubble to find it.
Do you look for the silver lining in dark clouds?
Or, do you more often believe the opposite?

such lovely words ...
I strive to look for the good and have hope in every situation. It makes for a happier life :)
I just wait it out -- it's all one can do. Sometimes there isn't a silver lining -- at least that's my experience,
I always, always, look for the silver lining. 1000%
Have a lovely week, my dear! :-)
Blessings gurl.....
wonderful to read from you, glad I can keep laughter going for you, after all it is one of the keys of staying youthful.
The reason for the silver lining in every moment is to reminds us that theres hope.

I agree life is full of ying and yang. It's best to focus on the good and strength to overcome the bad times.
I've always believed that life is yin and yang. It's a balance of good and bad. When things are going too good, I wait for the other shoe to drop. I don't know if it's a silver lining I'm looking for... just balance. Right now... I hope the other shoe doesn't drop too soon. This is such a thought provoking, beautiful post.
Most of the times i do see a silver lining and at times when i fail to do so i accept it as god's wish and pray for strength and blessings.
Hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend Leona.
Dell, that photo is beautiful! And I'm definitely a silver-lining girl. Most often my hubby is a black cloud, though. Eventually he comes around, but it is frustrating at first!
Yes. This has almost become a full philosophy. I find I'm always trying to extract something of value out of every experience that's less than enjoyable and find that it's definitely better than not bothering to try to make the best of the situation. As Obama said sometime before he was elected,"It's better to light a candle than to curse the darkness." Thanks for the words on my latest entry. It's always good to have some advice that's educated on the subject of travel. I try to impart real hands-on experiential knowledge as much as I can.
Hope you had a great WE
Evelyn ; )
Sometimes it's hard to see the silver lining, but we have to remember that it's there and move forward on faith, hope and trust. Other times, we may need a moment to wallow, but we better get over it quickly and move on.
Love this post and the photo!
