Do You Believe In Miracles?

Do you believe in miracles?
Have you ever been blessed with a miracle?

I do.
And, I have - - many times.
I've been reminded of a few things about miracles over the last year.

The first thing I was reminded of is this:

When you pray to God for a miracle, and you truly believe,
you need to prepare yourself for the unexpected.

Miracles don’t always look the way we want them to.
I call it the "GOD-gives-me-a-present-with-a-green-bow-but-I-wanted-a-red-bow" syndrome.

Truth-be-told, miracles don’t appear the way we'd like, most of the time.

God has His own plans for us.

  1. I tend not to ask for certain things to happen necessarily. I pray for guidance and strength to do what I must to help others or myself.

  2. Yes, they often come in different forms than we are expecting but I also believe God has a plan for our lives and try to see His hand in all I do.

    thanks for the reminder.

  3. Leona, you know I believe in miracles. My son Christopher is a miracle from God.

God does have his own plans for each and every one of us. Nice post. =)

  4. So, so true! And what's most awesome about Heavenly Father is that HIS miracles are always so much more wonderful than the ones we pray for! ♥

  5. LOL I've experienced a lot of the green and red bow stuff. And I've received quite a few miracles as well.

  6. Beautiful post!

And visiting your blog is never "punishment" :) But your suggestion might just compel me to start commenting back on friend's blogs again!

Hope things are going well for you!

And I learned a long time ago to be careful what I pray for -- I might get it!

  8. Great post. I do believe in miracles although I don't feel like I've seen/had any lately. However, like you said, they come in many forms most of which we don't recognize because God has a different plan. The perfect plan. That's why it's important to thank Him everyday.
