World Start.com: Cool Sites

As you have probably already guessed, World Start.com is one of my all time favorite websites. They offer so much valuable information, it is literally impossible to tell you about all of it. I also find that rather than try to describe something I find there myself, it is quicker to point you to it via a link.

One of the best things I like at World Start is a section called "Cool Sites". It is just what the name suggests, a list of ...well...cool sites. There are about a hundred-gazillion cool sites, each more fascinating than the previous one.

First, there's a site that allows you to type or surf the Web in your native language. Another lets you track your weight loss for the year. Or you can learn a second language, find out where you can go eat for under $10, or try a great new way to discover recipes!

Sounds good, doesn't it? Wait, there's more. You can create your own online story, listen to the radio from all over the globe right from your computer chair, and learn how to speed read. If you love the internet and learning new things, you're in for a treat.

Sounds addictive. I'm afraid my husband would begin to wonder why he couldn't pull me away from the computer. He's start to be concerned that I might have found an internet romance or something...
and I guess we all have some sort of wierd love affair with this electronic gadget going on to some degree.

Anyway... it sounds a bit overwhelming, but I'm curious enough to check it out.... I will either thank you or curse you, I'm sure.

Oh gosh, Leona. It's bad enough that I can't get to all my blogging family these days. WorldStart would keep me chained here and nothing would get done in the house. But then again.... maybe a little peek wouldn't hurt. :-)
