Many of you have commented so warmly about my daughter, Jordyn, I thought I'd share a bit of her with you. Here she is with James Avery who plays Uncle Phil on "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". Upper right - she's in costume for the play, A Raisin in the Sun.

She received Houston's Ensemble Theatre "2007 Giorgee Award" for Best Supporting Actress for her role in A Raisin in the Sun.

A Raisin in the Sun, written by Lorraine Hansberry and directed by Elizabeth Van Dyke is set in the early 1950s in the Younger family's apartment on Chicago's Southside. Jordyn played Benetha Younger in the play.
